The Caledonia Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on Damage to Vehicles that occurred in the Village of Caledonia:

Caledonia Police are investigating numerous complaints of damage to vehicles which occurred in the overnight hours of October 31 to November 1, 2014. Vehicles targeted had tires punctured or cut and several vehicles were spray painted. The area targeted was the Kremer Subdivision, bordered by 4-Mile Rd, Douglas Av, Ellis Av and Charles St. Similar incidents occurred in Racine and Mt Pleasant during the same time frame.

Four males of unknown race entered the store wearing masks and hoods, ordered the customers and employees to the ground at gunpoint, and then took cash from the register. They then fled on foot running northbound on Geneva St from Kewaunee St.

The Caledonia Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Burglary that occurred in the Village of Caledonia.

 

On October 13, 2014, Officers responded to the 3400 block of North Green Bay Road for the report of a burglary.  Sometime during the hours of 3:30 am and 12:40 pm, an unknown suspect(s) entered the residence unlawfully and stole 19 guns from the residence. 

 

Mostly handguns; however there were some long guns taken during the burglary.

Armed Robbery- The Farm

The Racine Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on an Armed Robbery that occurred in the City of Racine.

 

On October 10, 2014, Officers responded to the Farm Restaurant, 3810 Durand Ave for the report of an armed robbery where the suspect fired a gun inside the establishment. 

 

Two suspects entered the restaurant and immediately demanded money.  When the employees were not as quick as the suspects wanted, one suspect fired a single bullet from a silver handgun.  Once the suspects had taken the money from the registers, the suspects fled out the main doors, in an unknown direction. 

 

The suspects are described at two Hispanic males approximately 5’5 weighing between 125-130 lbs.  The first suspect had on a black bandana with a skull.  The second suspect had a mask on, similar to a “Jason” or white goalie mask.

Car Jacking

The Racine Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Car Jacking that occurred in the City of Racine.

 

On 10/03/14, at approximately 3:15 am, Officers responded to the 1700 Block of Grand Ave for the report of a 911 hang up.  When Officers arrived it was learned the victim was severly beaten. 

 

It was further learned when the victim was on the way home, he was approached by two black males at the intersection of Packard and Dekoven Ave, where he was pulled out of his car and beaten with what the victim believed to be a crowbar. 

 

The victim’s vehicle was later recovered; however the suspects are still at large.  The suspects are only described as two black males.

On 08-19-2014 at approximately 6:45 am, Officers responded to 1756, Pia’s Restaurant, for the report of a Burglary. 

 

Sometime between the hours of 1:00 am and 6:00 am an unknown suspect kicked out the front north door and entered the establishment. 

 

The suspect took the cash register from the restaurant and, based on coin currency in the street, is believed to have fled westbound down 18th Street.

Theft of mail

The Caledonia Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Theft of mail that occurred in the Village of Caledonia.

 

On 07-04-2014, the victim mailed their granddaughter a birthday card containing a $50 Target gift card.  The card was deposited in the outside mailbox at 2635 Four Mile Road, the U. S. Post Office.  

 

The victim advised the granddaughter never received the card and gift.  Upon learning this, the victim called Target and found out the gift card was used in Oak Creek on July 5, 2014 at approximately 10:50 am.

Burglary

August 7, 2014

 

The Caledonia Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Burglary that occurred in the Village of Caledonia.

 

On 07-29-2014 at approximately 6:30 pm, Officers responded to the 8200 block of County Highway V for the report of a burglary.  Responding Officers were advised a white male approached the residence and stated they were with the power company and needed to do some work on a pole adjacent to the victim’s property. 

 

The suspect then asked the victim to show him where their property line was.  The victim did so and when they reached the limit of the property line, the suspect put yellow tape down.  The victim and suspect had a conversation for a few minutes at the property line, and then began to walk back to the house.  While walking to the house, the victim observed a second white male walking from the front of their house.  When asked, the suspect advised the second male was his partner. 

 

Once both the suspect and victim arrived at front of the house, the suspect got into a gray 4 door ford pickup truck with a cap on the back and left southbound on Hwy V

 

When the victim entered the home, they realized they had been burglarized.  The second suspect had entered the home and taken several items. 

 

Suspect 1 is described as a white male between the ages of 38-45, 5’9-5’11, wearing a yellow polo shirt.  The suspect is described as having a lump on the right side of the neck, decaying teeth, shorter brown hair, light skin and a thing build. 

 

Suspect 2 is described as a white male, between the ages of 34-38, approximately 5’6-5’8, wearing a white T-shirt.  He is described as having a husky build, shorter brown hair and light skin.

Assault

The Racine Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on an Assault that occurred in the City of Racine.

 

On June 29th, 2014, Officers responded to the report of an assault in the 1600 Blk of Park Avenue.  Upon arrival, it was learned the victim was assaulted by a group of teenage black males with the suspects stating they were going to kill his dog. 

 

The victim stated he was in the back yard, when his dogs got loose to the front.  The victim then went to the front yard where they attempted to get his dogs.  The victim stated the group began cursing at him a stating they were going to kill his dogs.  The victim asked the group to move along and at that time the group approached the victim and began to repeatedly punch and hit him in the face and body. 

 

The suspects are described as 6 juvenile black males, between the ages of 15-18 years old.  One of the suspects is at least 6’2 tall and another was wearing plaid shorts and a white T-shirt.

She was conscious and alert. The victim was taken to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital and later transferred to Froedtert Hospital for further treatment.

No suspects are in custody at this time. This is an active investigation.

Robbery

The Racine Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Robbery that occurred in the City of Racine.

 

On June 23, 2014, Officers responded to the 4100 block of Seventeenth St for the report of a robbery that had happened the night before.  Upon arrival, Officers spoke to the victim. 

 

The victim stated they were returning home around 6:30 PM the night before and when they were about to exit their vehicle, a black male approached them opened his door and began hitting and kicking the victim in the face.  The suspect took the victim’s phone, keys, and wallet and fled on foot in an unknown direction. 

 

The victim did sustain injuries from the robbery and stated the only suspect description they could provide was a black male.

Bank Robbery

The Racine Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Bank Robbery that occurred in the City of Racine.

 

On June 9, 2014, at approximately 10:10 a.m. Officers responded to the Wells Fargo bank, 1700 ML King Drive for a robbery.  This is the second robbery to Wells Fargo Bank in 3 days.  The initial robbery occurred on Saturday, June 7th at about 12:30 p.m.  No one was injured in either robbery. 

 

The robbery suspect from today, June 9, 2014, is described as a black male approximately 5’03 with a thin build.  He was wearing a dark blue jacket with yellow writing and dark ball cap.  The suspect in Saturday’s robbery was described as a thin black male about 5’5 wearing sunglasses.  In both instances a note was handed to the teller.  No weapons have been displayed and no one had been injured as a result of either robbery.  No suspects are in custody at this time.

Theft

The Caledonia Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Theft that occurred in the Village of Caledonia.

 

On 05/01/2014, Officers were dispatched to 5111 Douglas Ave, Pick and Save, for the report of a theft.  Upon review of security footage, it was learned that 4 male suspects entered the store, 2 of which going to the liquor department, and concealed bottles of liquor, then exited the store. 

 

The suspect that concealed then left the store with the item is described as a male Hispanic, possibly late teens, early 20’s.  The suspect was wearing a blue Milwaukee Brewers hat with just the “M” logo on it; also wearing a brown winter jacket with a faux fur hood, a blue tee shirt.  The suspect is described as wearing blue jeans with several rips in them and black tennis shoes.

Burglary

The Racine Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a burglary that occurred in the City of Racine.

 

On 04/12/14, at 1728 hours, Officers were dispatched to 2021 Douglas Ave for the report of a garage burglary.  Sometime between 03/30/2014 a 1999 Coleman Brand, 14’ Pop-up camper had been stolen from the inside of the locked garage.  The camper is described as a clean white pop up, with a green horizontal stripe down the side.  The license plate for the camper is 53821RV. 

 

Also stolen from the garage were four truck wheels, 8 lug, with knobby tires.

Attempted Burglary

The Racine Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Burglary attempt that occurred in the City of Racine.

 

On 04/03/2014, Officers were dispatched to the 5600 Blk of Castle Court, Castle Court Apartments, reference Suspicious Circumstances.  Upon arrival, it was learned while inside the residence, the victim heard a “pop” noise come from the area near their door.  Upon further inspection it was determined someone had attempted to breach the door and gain entry, only being stopped by the deadbolt lock. 

 

It is believed the suspect used an instrument in an attempt to gain access, possibly a crow bar.  This is the second burglary attempt on these apartments in the last week.

The Caledonia Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on a Vandalism/Theft that occurred in the Village of Caledonia.

 

On 03/26/2014, at approximately 8:07 am, Officers were dispatched to 8332 Northwestern Ave, Gifford Elementary School for the report of the head of the Clifford the Gifford Gator being removed from the sculpture. 

 

The Vandalism/theft, occurred between the hours of 5 pm on Tuesday 03/25/2014 and 7 am Wednesday, 03/26/2014.

Armed Robbery

The Racine Police Department, in conjunction with CRIME STOPPERS of Racine County Inc. is seeking information on an Armed Robbery that occurred in the City of Racine.

 

On 03/06/2014, Officers were advised of an Armed Robbery that occurred near the intersection of Charles St and Roymayne Ave.    

 

Upon Officers arriving, it was learned the suspect and victim had set up a meeting at the above mentioned intersection via Craigslist for the purchase of a Playstation.  When the suspect and victim met, the suspect attempted to barter with the victim, and when the victim counter offered, the suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim.  The victim was then robbed of his Playstation game console and all the money on his person.  The suspect then re entered his vehicle and fled the scene.

 

The suspect is described as black male, between the ages of 22-25, weighing approximately 160-170lbs and standing between 5’8-5’10 tall.  He had brown eyes a black do-rag on with a beard.  The suspect was also wearing a brown Carhartt Jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.  His beard was described as “patchy” also stating the suspect had “bad teeth.”  The suspect’s vehicle was described as a gold 2 door Pontiac Grand Prix. 

 

Additionally, there was a second suspect in the passenger seat, only described as a black male, heavier than the first suspect.
